چکیده

To determine the responsiveness of Patient-Report Outcome Measurement Information System (PROMIS) compared to legacy patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) in patients undergoing hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS) at 6-month follow-up. Data from consecutive who underwent primary between August 2018 and January 2019 treatment FAIS were analyzed. Baseline data including demographics, pre- 6 months post-operative outcomes recorded. Computer adapted testing (CAT) was used administer PROMIS Physical Function (PROMIS-PF), Pain Interference, Depression measures. The PROMs included Hip Score-Activities Daily Living (HOS-ADL), Score-Sport Subscale (HOS-SS), international tool 12 questions (iHOT12). Responsiveness each PRO evaluated by calculating effect size (ES) relative efficiency (RE). An ≥0.80 considered large. Ninety-six with an average age BMI 32.4±11.9 years 25.9±6.1 kg/m2 respectively had completed final analysis. Except (ES=0.04), large all Interference (ES=0.96), PROMIS-PF HOS-ADL (ES=1.29), HOS-SS (ES=1.06), iHOT12 (ES=1.87). less responsive than RE 0.55, 0.93, 0.24 HOS-ADL, HOS-SS, respectively. a similar against other REs 0.59 0.26 iHOT12. most measure (RE=3.95), (RE=4.13), (RE=2.26), (RE=3.84). In FAIS, reference pre-operative PF lower specific PROMs. addition, correlated well HOS-SS.
